MiniModes started as a project that was originally just a small mini-game engine made for me and my friends to play with on our private server. I had the idea when I saw a random YouTube video for a Pillars minigame I wanted to recreate, but I knew that it needed a system for settings, rematches etc. However, I soon realized that it was a lot of fun, and it would be a big waste to keep it for ourselves. This led to MiniModes becoming a full-fledged framework for Minecraft mini-games. All the people who are mentioned here helped shape MiniModes into what it is today in some way.
Thanks to:
- Gabber235 for introducing me to Kotlin and his Typewriter project for the idea of a core plugin and independent extensions
- Mon987 and Wuffiwuff7880 for helping test the first version of MiniModes and suggesting me to add new games
- Dunkelfunkel for
bullyingmotivating me to fix annoying bugs and add new features when I was too lazy to do it on my own - My teachers for not giving me homework during the Easter holidays, which is why I could rewrite the core engine twice
- Many more people behind the scenes who indirectly helped me with MiniModes by supporting me when I had more errors than lines of code
